“Turning an idea into reality” Morgan Purdy
This is my Therapy, my meditation, and my creative gift to the world. I feel a sense of purpose and peace when I spend the countless hours it takes bringing a face to life from little Shards of Metal. The process is tedious and a few misplaced caps could alter the look of a face dramatically, but what I love is that I don’t doubt myself while I work. I know the “imposter complex” all too well, so it’s constantly a surprise and delight to feel sure of myself in this art form—being aware of my eyes and hands working together while my mind is somewhere else entirely, free from judgement.
“I feel tremendous gratitude that people have received my creative gift with such encouragement and I hope the support and community I have found through this art will continue for years come”
